Robert Corijn, Marketing Manager for Attero, has taken over as the Group’s new Chair. Through his work at Attero, one of the Netherland’s largest waste management companies, Robert brings eight years’ of energy-from-waste experience to the role.
Commenting on his new role, Robert Corijn said:
“I am delighted to be taking on the role of Chair of the RDF Industry Group, and look forward to building on the good work of my predecessors, Andy Hill and Gavin Graveson, who successfully built a respected Group of operators addressing some of the key issues and opportunities associated with the RDF industry.
The industry and the Group faces an important challenge in the form of Brexit, as well as other changes in regulations presenting potential barriers to the legitimate, environmentally sound, export of RDF. As an active member of the Dutch Waste Management Association, I plan to encourage collaboration and joined-up working across the European waste management industry, in order to build on the platform the Group has already established and strengthen its position.”
